What is a preacher ?

The preacher is the person who gives the lectures at spiritual retreats. This is often the father responsible for the foyer where the retreat takes place. The preaching can be done by other people: other priests of the Foyer de Charité community, a diocesan priest, a bishop or a lay member of the Foyers de Charité.
